Note: if you have other policies or products with MyState Limited via one of it’s subsidiaries, Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees Ltd or MyState Financial, you need to advise us separately of your new details, if applicable.

Where do I find my Shareholder Reference Number (SRN)?

The holding statement sent to you when you first became a holder in the company or a dividend statement will quote your SRN. This can be found in the top left hand corner of your statements. If you cannot locate any of these statements then you will need to write to the company’s share registry.

Am I a CHESS Sponsored Holder or an Issuer Sponsored Holder?

If you have entered a sponsoring agreement with a broker (or another CHESS sponsor) you are CHESS Sponsored Holder. CHESS holdings are identified by a Holder Identification Number “HIN” which started with an “X”.

If not, then you are an Issuer Sponsored Holder. Issuer Sponsored holdings can be identified by a Securityholder Reference Number “SRN” which starts with an “I”.

How do I confirm how many shares I hold?

You can access details of your personal shareholding via the Computershare website. You will need your Securityholder Reference Number (SRN) or Holder Identification Number (HIN) and your postcode. Our Company code is MYS. Alternatively you can contact Computershare on contact details provided above.

Can you send me a history of my shareholding?

Yes. Your request must be in writing and should contain your full name, your address and your Securityholder Reference Number (SRN). Mail or fax your request to Computershare.

Do I have to quote my Tax File Number (TFN) or Australian Business Number (ABN?)

The Company is obliged to deduct tax at the top marginal rate plus Medicare Levy from partially franked dividends paid to Australian resident shareholders who have not supplied TFN, ABN or exemption details.

Can I have my name removed from the Annual Report Mailing List?

Yes. To have your name removed from the annual report mailing list you need to advise the Company’s share register in writing or online. You will continue to receive all other shareholder information, including notices of shareholder meetings and proxy forms.

Can I consolidate my shareholdings?

If you hold two or more holdings and the name and address are identical in the holdings, you can combine your shareholdings by contact the Company’s share registry and quoting each holding number.

Dividends

When is the dividend paid?

The directors declare and pay dividends out of the profits of MyState Limited and fix the amount and timing for payments and the method of payment of any dividend payments. Details of MyState Limited’s dividend policy can be found under Corporate Goverance on the MyState Limited website.

Does MyState Limited have a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP)?

No.

Can I have my dividends credited to a nominated account?

Yes, Dividend payments may be credited to a nominated financial institution account in Australia. You will need to contact the Company’s share registry, Computer share and provide your bank account details.

AGM

Do I have to attend the AGM?

No, it is not compulsory to attend the Annual General Meeting.

The AGM is a good forum for shareholders to participate directly in decision being made by MyState Limited and to hear the arguments for and against these decisions.

During the AGM, shareholders are asked to vote on important issues and also have the opportunity to put questions to the Board.

If you cannot attend the AGM, you may vote by proxy on question that are to be voted on at the meeting. Several weeks before the meeting you will receive a proxy form which allows you to submit your vote via the mail. You can also use the form to appoint someone to attend the meeting on your behalf.
